LUXE PATTERNS
The wainscoting of Portuguese glazed tiles has been installed by the prior proprietor decorator. "Are not they gorgeous?" Says designer Joe Nye. He also slipcovered the side chair in a complementary blue-and-white linen stripe.
CLAW-FOOT TUB
In a Palm Beach house, the master bathroom walls are painted a habit watery blue. Homeowner Liza Pulitzer Calhoun chose the cast-iron claw-foot tub since it seems "so favorable."
BLUE CEILING
Designer Eddie Lee reimagined this master bath as "a blend of English charm and Asian lushness, with some European classicism inserted in," he says. While gloomy Farrow & Ball paint overhead mimics a cloudless sky hand-painted panels grace the walls.
BEAUTIFUL BUILT-INS
"it is a little bathroom, and so I wanted everything built-in, exact, and tidy, " says designer Barbara Westbrook of the Atlanta cabin. "You wouldn't believe the amount of people who pass through it and say they're dying to get into that bathtub."
CHIC CONSOLE
Designer David Kleinberg established the look of the traditional bath's sink-stand onto a French iron console.
