Conventional SCONCES
The master bathroom's tub, sink, fixtures, and black walnut flooring are all by Waterworks at the Upstate New York home. The sconces are by Vaughan, the kilim is from West Elm, and the artworks were bought in Paris and London.

GOLDEN SCONCES
The powder room within this Hudson River rancher mural is by Shantell Martin and the wainscoting is painted in Benjamin Moore's Midnight.

COPPER CHANDELIER
For a San Francisco family, designer Ken Fulk revived a faded 19th-century landmark, transforming it into a multifunctional 21st-century home without losing any of its period drama. The marble tub in the toilet of the wife is by Urban Archaeology, the wallcovering is hand-painted, and the flooring is by Fox Marble.

SIMPLE SCONCES
Straightforward lighting provides striking contrast to this active Finnish wallpaper in the 1950s adorning the walls of the Manhattan flat powder room, decorated by Katie Ridder. Hanging above a Waterworks sink, a FontanaArte mirror echoes the wall color.

LOW-HANGING LAMP
Designer Darryl Carter generates a master bath that's accurate to his Virginia farmhouse's origins by utilizing a simple lamp he designed for the Urban Electric Co., a sink vanity made from an oak table, and a slim mirror that sits in front of the windows.
